These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of artworks offered through our platform. By accessing or using our site, you agree to be bound by the following terms. 1. About Us
Kakklein Collective is an online art gallery that sells original art pieces, each no larger than 10cm x 10cm. We are passionate about making small-scale art accessible, collectable, and meaningful.
2. Product Information
- All artworks are handmade and unique.
- Sizes are strictly limited to a maximum of 10cm x 10cm, excluding frames or mounts unless otherwise specified.
- Images on the site aim to represent the piece accurately, but color and texture may vary depending on your screen/device.
- Each product listing includes dimensions, medium, and artist name.
3. Orders and Payment
- Orders are placed directly through our website.
- Prices are listed in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable.
- Secure payment methods are provided at checkout, including credit/debit card and PayFast (for South African customers) or Paypal and Yoco (for international customers).
- Full payment is required before orders are processed or shipped.
4. Shipping and Delivery
- Shipping is available domestically and internationally.
- Delivery times vary based on destination but typically range from 3–10 business days (domestic) and 7–21 business days (international).
- Buyers are responsible for any import duties or customs fees.
- All orders are securely packaged to protect delicate artworks.
5. Returns and Refunds
Due to the nature of original artwork:
- All sales are final unless the item arrives damaged.
- If your item arrives damaged, notify us within 48 hours of receipt with photos of the packaging and artwork.
- Approved returns must be shipped back in original packaging, at the buyer’s expense.
- Refunds will be processed once the item is received and damage is confirmed.
6. Intellectual Property
- All artworks and images on this site remain the intellectual property of the individual artists.
- No image, product, or content may be copied, reproduced, or used for commercial purposes without express written permission.
7. Artist Representation
- Artists featured on Kakklein Collective retain rights to their work and agree to exclusive or non-exclusive terms based on individual agreements.
- Kakklein Collective may use artwork images for promotional purposes with appropriate credit to the artist.
8. Privacy
- We collect and use personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Your information is used solely for order processing, communication, and improving our services.
9. Disclaimer
- While we take care to maintain accurate listings and stock availability, errors may occur.
- Kakklein Collective reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason, including mispricing or artist withdrawal.
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect upon posting. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
